AlkminiTheatre, housed in one of the most exquisite buildings of Athens, opened its doors to the public on Thursday 2/3/2022 with a splendid painting exhibition of well-known artists powered by mta-art. The opening was a great success, with many art lovers and friends of the theatre attending.

We wanted to share some of our favorite photos with you. We had so much fun on our exhibition and we can't wait to go on more adventures in the future. We took a lot of pictures while we were there, and we're going to post them all on our blog so that you can see them too.

Personal Interview in www.polismagazino.gr

My dream is for my paintings to travel to different parts of the world. When I give my work I feel that I give a part of my soul, so I feel that I can travel too. What are the reasons that pushed you to get involved in painting? Painting gave me the first stimuli when I was still an elementary school child, seeing the older children doing graffiti, I thought I wanted to try it too. So I started painting in my school notebooks but also on walls. In the summer of 2017 I got my first brushes and tempera to paint small pebbles that I collected from the beache. Ever since I can remember, I have loved to create, I saw it as a game and as a means of expression to externalize my emotions.

In which current or movement would you include your works? My works are inspired by various currents. However, I have not come up with something spesific. I like challenges and always create something different.

Where do you get your inspiration from? Nature inspires me! Nature paints and we try to copy it.

What is the biggest challenge you have set for yourself as an artist? Every time I want to exceed my limits and through daily practice to improve my potential.

What message would you like to convey to the visitors of the exhibition? People need art and art needs people. Nothing is impossible. We can all create whatever our mind imagines, as long as we have faith in ourselves and love for what we want to do.

Could your projects be influenced by your experiences and your environment? My works are definitely influenced by my experiences and the environment I live in. I like to paint the merchant ships and yachts that sail to Leros, its old Italian buildings and its beautiful landscapes.

Could you engage in any other art form besides painting? I already deal with other arts such as epoxy resin constructions, wood constructions. My creations fall into a wide range and range from small jewelry to home decorations. Of course this never stops. I am constantly coming up with new ideas and I try to implement them so that I too can develop as an artist through them.

Is there a project that is a dream come true?

I would like to be able to share my love for art with other people who are art lovers. My dream is to be able to travel my painting to different parts of the world. When I give a work I feel I give a part of my soul, so I feel that I can travel too.
